Hi, TIA! I don't know how to post pictures... but I think this is a good idea you can transfer to COOKIES... I've seen these COOKIE Cutters, or you can make templates... the layout is colorful and has many shapes icon_smile.gif

Here is a link to some Gorgeous hibiscus flowers made by bakincc (one of my fav. cookie artists). They would go great with palm trees, a sun, flip flops, hula girls. Think bright.

If you go back to Alagoas link to izzys and take a look at the picture you will see that the flower is just a six petal flower; a cutter you can easily find. Color them like bakincc adding the unique stamin (or whatever it's called) in the middle. If you want them more like bakincc cookies, push two of the petals closer together before you bake. The colors she makes them and the detail work see does is amazing. Hope this is helpful.

In Wilton's 2001 Yearbook, they have a Luau party cake and they have the boy and girl cookies decorated for the party.

Please post a picture when you have it done for all of us to enjoy.

Have a great day! icon_smile.gif

It seems to me that somewhere I have seen gingerbread shapes done as a hula girls, and also wearing swim suits. Maybe try that?

I agree, Schmulie65's hula bears (actually the entire group) are WONDERFUL!

I made hula girls with coconuts (in my pics) and everyone loved them! I just used a gingerbread girl cookie cutter. When I did the flowers to go with them, I just bent up a flower cookie cutter to my liking. HTH! Good luck! icon_smile.gif
