I'm going to be trying a red velvet recipe out of "the Cake Mix Doctor" and it calls for German Chocolate Cake mix w/pudding. Well hubs said since it's mother's day (I know not til tomorrow), he'd go to the store and pick up everything I needed. I'm almost positive he's going to be calling when he tries to figure out what cake mix to use.
So the question is do you know who makes a German Choc. Cake mix with pudding?
I've checked the Betty Crocker and Pillsbury websites but can't figure out if they have pudding in them or not.
TIA
I think Pillsbury makes its mixes with pudding, it say's on the box. Good luck! Next week I am graduating from college and I am making myself a red velvet too!!! It's my favorite!
Oh..and btw... I know what you mean about your hubby. I once sent him over to Walmart for vanilla and almond extract, he said there wasn't any. I urgently needed it so when he came back I was going to drive 30 mins to the next walmart...but instead decided to check our local walmart first... and yup.. Both extracts were there... men!

My hubby says that about the canned veg aisle. he'll come back from the grocery with meat, chips and beer. I'll ask, "Were they out of ALL vegetables?" He tells me, "Yes ... yes, they were. I walked down the veg aisle and was shocked at the empty shelves! Some vegetarian must be having a BIG party!" (remember, he also does stand up comedy so he thinks he's being funny on ths one!)
