Ok I got an order today for an Annie cake. It is for a 13 year old who is staring as Annie in her school play on her birthday. I NEED HELP!!!!!! I have no idea where to begin. Can someone please help?
Its a Hard Knock Life for us! Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow! You're never fully dressed without a smile.....
So this was clearly MY favorite play, movie, soundtrack growing up!! How big of a cake do you need?
Things that you should put on it are an Annie and Sandy (the dog) topper and then you can put things like a mop and some orphans and "we love you ms. hannigan".
Ok - that's all I've got right now.....
Good luck!!

Thanks for the ideas! I need the cake to feed 20-30 people. Thanks again for the ideas and keep them comin
What about doing something with the locket, the tropical scene that her and daddy warbucks (sp????) were dancing , what about when she was climbing up the ladder on the bridge, maybe when they were scrubbing the floor like janewaters had suggested, or do the famous red and white dress. Now I want to go and rent the movie!!!!!!!
I was thinking of the scene when Annie is sitting up at night singing when all the other girls were in bed. Or also something with the Locket like cakeandparty mentioned.
You could do a sheet cake and carve out the outline of the word "Annie" and decorate it as it is on the posters, etc (http://images.broadwayworld.com/upload/42422/annie.jpg) and I like the idea of the locket too. At the lower corner of the Annie you could have the broken heart locket with the chain - either out of fondant or a separate cupcake shaped to look like the locket.
good luck!
