I am catering a junior prom this weekend and I have to make 200 cupcakes with 10 different stands of 10 different flavors. The client requested that I display a place card that gives the name of each cupcake and what flavor it is. I have seen this place cards before but I would like to know if there is a special program that I need to buy to make them ? Should I write them out myself? I want them to look professional so any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

you could do them on gum paste, just pipe the details on them, or use edible markers. or get someone to print out an edible image if you dont have a printer your self.
you could do them on your computer in a microsoft program, like outlook or power point, or use paint.
