I'm going to post! I promise. I just keep getting orders - which is awesome! I already have my vacation theme picked out. I'm going to cut them out tomorrow and then I have to do a cake on Friday. So, I'm hoping I'll have time to decorate Friday or Saturday. I'm so excited about my theme. It is somewhere I've always wanted to go - hopefully next year. icon_smile.gif

I'm in! Making these cookies this week has given me a newfound urge to decorate more...Taz, I think you'll like mine as all our vacations seem to be on "La Isla del Encanto"...

Here are the cookies for this month....Family Vacation could be the zoo or a safari for the adventerous or Disney's Animal Kingdom (is that the name of it?) These are done in buttercream. I forgot that the colors deepen with buttercream, so they got much darker than I had planned, but I still think they turned out okay. I am making the cake for them to go on today.

My household came down with the Stomach flu - icon_sad.gif
So, my vacation cookies will have to wait - now I have to work on the paid gigs. Oh well, I'll stick them in the freezer for a rainy day.

didn't make it for may (the only vacation we'd been on is camping) but i ran out of time-it's been a bit hectic around here (apart from baking, cleaning, kids, ect...) i can't believe it's june already (and it's freezing here in ontario!) i've got some great ideas for june though (if that's what we're using) i hope i can make it in time lol

My vacation money went to the contractor, the septic man, and mainly to the plumber. Of course, we could have gone swimming in the pool under the house...

can you believe, i'm the one who came up with the theme, and i didn't even post. over the next week, i have about 600 cookies due. i'm not sure if i love grad season or hate it.... do we have a theme for this month???
