Hi, everybody~I need more help....I read the recipe and watched the video, but when I made the candy clay, it separated on me. There was a glob of clay and a lot of liquid which would not stir in. What'd I do wrong?
Thanks!

Is it liquid or oil? You will have alot of oil that is supposed to seperate from the mixture. I use paper towels to absorb it and throw them away.

It's the oils...that always happens. What I do is knead out the oils. First I let the mixture sit for a few minutes, and then I take a small handful and kind of knead it in my hands till it comes together and most of the oil is out. Keep doing that little by little till you do the whole batch. Then wrap it up and let it sit. I find the texture to be smoother and better to work with.

Thanks, y'all~I tho't it was something I did or maybe the humidity here. I didn't notice that much liquid in the video....
