Fondant people

I have been looking for a tutorial that shows how to make a fondant person with no luck. I have found some showing how to do the head but not the body. Any suggestions?

Lorraine McKay (known as Aine2 on CC) has some great tutorials on her website. You have to pay for them, but they are well worth the money. She gives step by step directions. Go to extraicingonthecake.com.

You could subscibe to one of the aine2 tutorials or you can buy a polymer clay book that shows you how to make people and apply those to fondant. If you can't find a fondant person tutorial online, you could search for a polymer clay/play doh tutorial. HTH

Have you tried you tube? I have not looked myself for that but there are many videos on there. you might have some luck looking there

once you get the structure of the people down, or even animals down, it's not too hard to apply it to other places.

For standing up people, I make them on a wire or dowel rod to place it into the cake.
