I just want to start by thanking everyone who takes the time to help out here on CC. I don't know what I'd do without ya'll.
Now, I have an order for some chocolate cake truffles (which I found a great recipe here on CC for. again thanks!). The customer needs to feed about 20 people so she asked for 40 truffles. I told her I would look into it and get back to her with a price ( which I was previously advised here on CC.) But I don't exactly know how to price 40 individual truffle cake balls. Does anybody have any suggestions on this?
high! especially if they are detailed. its a lot of time to bake cake, crumb it, mix bc, mix together, melt choc, coat, dry, decorate, dry....
if you already have a pricing matrix of your own, you will know what it costs you in making the cake, bc and chocolate needed, and extras like power (if not, it will help you to make one), then you can add on as much of a time payment as you need.
xx
Since it's a chocolate product, we charge them like we do any of our other chocolate items...$1/ounce=$16/pound....We like the math...Weight it...If they're around 1 1/2 ounces, then they're $1.50 each.
