I am doing a cake for my son's pre-k graduation. He attends a church pre-school and they will be having a dinner for the children, parents and grandparents afterwards. Anyhoo... I want to do a three tier cake but I want the center tier to be a 3D school bus. All of the kids are were so excited a few weeks ago when they got to ride the big yellow bus over to tour the kindergarten. Does anyone have any ideas on how to pull this off? Doug are you out there?

Are you set on the bus being the middle tier? A school bus on top of the cake might be easier (unless it's a middle tier that's decorated and not a 3D bus). You could shape the tiered cake to be a hill (with flowers, animals, school house, etc.) and the bus is on top coming down the hill to school.

Good luck! Sounds like a fun cake!
