I want to make a Derby Pie Cupcake--for those of you not familiar with Derby Pie--it's like a pecan pie with the addition of choc. chips and bourbon. Can I fill the cups about the 1/2 with cake batter and then add a dollop of the filling and bake? Any suggestions?
