I just saw on Facebook that Buddy said his account here was deleted but he didn't know why. What's up with that?
Buddy's first post as a new member was to shamelessly(kidding
)promote himself and his new show...CC rules stipulate that you cannot use CC to promoTe your business or ones self in any way.They deleted his thread but I didn't know they deleted his account 
actually "buddyv" joined in January and posted a few times about various things. Then he created a new account "cakebossbuddy" to promote his new TLC show. The cakebossbuddy account was deleted when the thread was deleted. I messaged him on facebook with a link to Heath's "deleted" thread as well as a link to this thread, and he messaged back and said that his IP at home had been blocked but was all fixed now. I'm glad that got worked out. I think he will be a valuable member on CC.
The black and white cake trio was gorgeous. I loved all the family stuff at the bakery. is very different from Ace of Cakes, I think it's better. More real. And real cakes for real people! I loved how Buddy got tricked into making his own birthday cake. I can't wait till the next show! Too bad it's a month away.

I didn't realize the account was deleted. I just thought his threads were. I pm'ed him late last night regarding this and at that time it was still there. I can still see the "CakeBossBuddy" profile info when I click on his memberid from the pm I sent him but when I do a search under memberlist I can't find it. Kind of weird if you ask me.
Glad to see that he's back though!

I watched a repeat of the show last night, but this time with my husband and i was shocked how much he LOVED this show!. All throughout he kept saying, 'cool', and 'wow'...he was kinda giving me a complex since he never reacts that way when i do my cakes. ;0) Anyhow when the show was all said and done this is what he said, "now this is a show i can get into watching!" Yeah, for me..no more begging him to watch cake shows with me. He's not a fan of AOC, but clearly he is really into your show Buddy.
So thanks Buddy...now i have a person to watch my cake show with.

Can I just gloat please? I took a class with Buddy (not sure how soon after they made the cakes shown in the show) and I actually saw the Bride Magazine cakes up close and got to take pictures. I had no idea then what the story was on them. They were GORGEOUS!
His team is so much fun in the classes. Very laid back and funny, they totally put you at ease because they are all super talented you can tell (you saw how quick they iced those cakes), but very real and giving with their time and abilities. They dont make you feel small at all. Those of you with mini crushes wouldnt do very well if you ever had a class with him because then you would just die!
I was sooo impressed with the speed, and the mad piping skills....but I have no interest in watching a family bicker and be rude to customers. I'll tune in again, but I can't promise lifelong devotion.
OK, I posted on the decorating thread and now I cannot find my post anywhere. Anyway, what happened to the show? I cannot find a listing for it anywhere. Has it allready been cancelled?
Oh thank God! I was so upset when I notice that my tivo wasnt taping it. So searched and searched and it didnt even come up! My husband thought it was a one time thing and I told him no, that it said it was a series. Then we checked and it didnt even say that it had any up and coming episodes. I was so worried that they had canned the show! I kept thinking that they would be crazy to do that because its already a huge hit on here alone! What I liked about it is that its a true bakery. Not that CCC isnt a bakery but they do only cakes. These guys do it all, from canoli's to cupcakes! So they are up at the crack of dawn baking fresh cookies, pastries, and breads for display. Truely what a baker does. (the dunkin donuts guy from the commercial "Gotta Make The Donuts...") Is exactly what they do. Drag themselves out of bed in the wee hours and go to bed the same. They are hard working people for what little money they make.
And what I like about his bakery, the fact its family oriented and their not afraid to tell each other off!
