I am making a cake for a friend, and she loves chocolate cake with peanut butter icing, as well as marshmallow fondant. Will these flavors work together?

Has anyone tried this before?

What icing works best with marshmallow fondant?

Thanks for all the help!

I've tried PB buttercream & chocolate cake with Satin Ice fondant and it was really good. Good luck.

You know, if that's what the customer wants sure they go together! icon_smile.gif
It's a matter of personal taste. You might not care for it but so what.
When I had my shop I would always cringe when people would order chocolate cake w/strawberry filling.......NOT my favorite for sure!
But if that's what they want, that's what they get icon_smile.gif

Thanks for all the help!

My friend wants a chocolate cake with marshmallow fondant...I thought about adding the Peanut Butter icing myself; however, wasn't sure if the flavors would work together.

Maybe I will just try it out.

Does cream cheese icing work with marshmallow fondant?

Thanks again!
