This is SO exciting!! I can just picture all of us perched on the edges of our computer chairs! Everyone at Charm City is amazingly talented.
As far as the frozen cake goes - remember when they were doing a cake for some event and the cleaning staff at the venue got into their sheet cakes? They had to go purchase sheet cakes from a local bakery. Could that have been the cakes y'all had?
Not that it matters to me - I love Duff and the whole gang! icon_biggrin.gif

Floridagal,
I think she said it was Saturday, which would be today, so guess we have to wait. Don't know the time but we WILL be waiting.
I love to watch Duff come up with ideas. Oh to be so talented.

I wonder if Lu will be on CC today? Looks like she's going to have a busy day. I hope she not only got to see the cake but got to taste it too. Enquiring minds want to know icon_lol.gif

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the cake -- can't wait to see pictures, but more importantly, can't wait to see how it taste. At a minimum of $1,000 it better be pretty darn tasty!!!!

Michelle is a sweetheart. I had the occasion to call her for advice on a cake. She is exactly as she is on TV....bubbly!

Well I checked his website and he does give 15% off to teachers, first responders and active duty military. Maybe I should get my husband's retirement cake from there.
I can't wait to hear about this cake either.

Hope you had fun at the party and that your son had a great time at his prom.... but now REALLY - WHERE ARE THE PICTURES OF THE CAKE??? icon_biggrin.gif

I agree that maybe their cakes have that denser texture because I have also heard they were dry - can't wait to hear another perspective.

Hi Everyone!

It is 1:10 a.m. Sunday morning. We just got home. I will tell you all about it in the a.m. I have pictures but I can't figure out how to add them to this thread. If someone can leave me instuctions on how to do this I will do it 1st thing.

I will tell you this, I was very disappointed in every aspect of the cake and he paid $2000.00. He said he the person that gave him the cake was an a@##$ and he didn't meet anyone and he didn't get to see any of the bakery.

I have pictures if someone can tell me how to do this.
Talk more in a.m.

Lu

For two grand, I would have paid off some student loans and bought a new pair of jeans. I know that Duff is a huge novelty and it's super-cool to have a cake from him, but woah. Flying all the way out there? Just woah.
