Mel, my fav colors are teal & purple if you really wanna do another, I didnt get a bday cake from my family, I got mad and finally made myself a cake in the middle of the night icon_wink.gif But everything does look awesome, but I already told you that.

Looks fabulous! Wonderful TT cake. I also love the cupcake display - really great way to convey the painting the roses theme.

I bet the shop owners were beyond thrilled. You did an amazing job!!! I loved how the cupcakes turned out. The TT looked so great!!! Congratulations on an beautiful cake.

I am so proud of you! It is a flawless cake! What method did you end up using? I think I want to see pics of all of it, no that will just make me hungry! Edna is the one who got me started on these cakes. I am so in love with her avatar. I was trying to remember and on the way home about 3 am it finally hit me. Anyway, it is bed thirty and will post more later. Have a great week all!

Aw thanks!! I ended up using the method from the Utube video where you stack up layers of cake and just carve the slant. It worked pretty well, no real problems to speak of other than my fondant issues. Probably user error on those. icon_rolleyes.gif

user error uhmm, whatever, I am sure it was bad PS that made evil fondant!

Ok, I think I am almost awake enough to compute stuff. I will try to post the pic. I like Mel's better. The cake is a "pinkcakebox" inspired TT.
