Hello, this may sound silly but I need to buy molds for seashells. I saw the first impression molds and they look great. The question is, are they three dimensional and if they are, how do they work are they open in the back? Do the molds really come out with as much details as the molds... any feedback on these molds would be great

Yes they do - just prepare your Fondant or whatever medium you are using and gently push into every crease and area of the mold...smooth the top off and if you wish pop in the fridge for 5 or so minutes and then when ready to turn them out, just ease the sides away from the medium and *pop* out they come. On some occassion i have had to some a little *minute* lubricante with either baking spray or shortening - moreso for the really detailed molds. Some peole dust their molds with cornflour - but i prefer to use the method above. Once you have used them you will be happy that you have spent the money on First Impressions - they are the best molds i have ever used - when finished just wash in mild kitchen detergent - rinse well - wipe and leave to air -
