Oh, yeah, I'm sure there's a few of us who can find a way to spend $5 minimum there.

I wonder if this coupon would be honored in the US?

The coupon says it is valid at Michael's stores. Doesn't mention Canada or US on the coupon. I've posted these before and nobody has come back to say they had a problem with it, so I'm supposing it works......????

Hey, the worst they can do is tell me no, right? But I won't know until I try.

anyone can go to michaels website and print the coupons and if you join their mailing list, they automatically email the coupons every week. Same with ACMoore

Not true.

I teach at a couple of Michael's stores, and ever since they started sending coupons by email, it seems to be a random mix of who gets them. I have several email addresses registered, yet never get the coupons. In a class of 15 students, about a quarter of those also registered get the coupons while the rest do not.

Plus, they now have in place a system that once a certain number of views have been reached, the coupon hosted on the Michaels website is unavailable.

So, long story short, those who get the coupons emailed to them should continue to post the actual coupon image here to share with others.

Make sure you print the entire coupon and bar code. I tried to use one that I had emailed to me, and the clerk refused it because she said part of the bar code was missing. I was very annoyed at having to pay full price when I had made a special trip to use the coupon, but live too far away from Michael's to run home and reprint. Also, I don't know if the bar code is different for every coupon emailed, thus might be good only once...needs to be checked out.

I've used the same coupon more than once in a given week, without a problem. Also, when you receive the coupon in your email, they actually have a button that allows you to forward the coupon to your friends. So I don't think there's a problem in that respect, just so long as you have the entire bar code, as you said, Jajam.

It does say something like one coupon per customer per day so if you want to print out multiple of them for the week it shouldn't be a problem. I know I've used the same coupon (same barcode) twice in a week, plus if the barcode was going to be an issue (meaning can only be used the one time) than no one would post it here on CC for everyone to use. icon_smile.gif

I like to use them for buying different sized cake pans, that I otherwise would think twice about buying. I've also bought the big box of disposable bags..... love those when I have a lot of colours happening at the same time.

You can also use competitors coupons at Michaels, so if AC Moore or Joanne Fabrics (or whatever store is in your state) has a better % off an item type of coupon Michaels will accept it. That works both ways with the other stores. They just won't accept the % off your total order coupons from other stores.

I print multiple from every store and stop a few times a week if there is stuff I need NOW. I drive past 2 AC Moores, 1 Joannes & 1 Michaels everyday so it's never out of my way to shop icon_smile.gif

Have Fun!

Don't forget, that you can use your Michaels coupons at JoAnn's Fabric also.

BTW, my wife signed me up for a Michaels Points card. She got some invite in her e-mail. Received it the other day. It gives me 40% off of one item every time I by something there. Does not say per day. Plus I gather points for using it. They will send me special discounts after so many points. Used it just yesterday. AND, if you have a coupon for a different amount, say 50%, they take the 50% off, and still give you points.

CHoxie, that Rewards Card for Micchaels gives you 20% off each purchase and 60% off custom framing. You can use their published coupons in addition to those discounts. I have it too, so I just wanted to clarify it for everyone. Enjoy!

Maybe there are different cards.

My card says 40% AORPI and 50% Custom Framing.

Cake pans, that's a great idea, didn't think of that, but they sure will come in handy. Last night I used one of the coupons on my course 3 kit. I'm going back tomorrow and use another coupon for a cake pan.
