Has anyone used the cake recipes from The Joy of cooking Cook Book?
I did my first one last night (white cake) and man it took forever to actually make. I had to whip a bunch of eggs to peak and it just felt the recipe took way too long to make.
Also the baking time was longer than in the book. Unsure if i like this recipe even with the way it tastes, it was kind of bland.
Anybody else have thoughts on this book?
