Hello I have a question I am doing tonight a Barbie cake with the Wonder pan, but I am planning to use a real barbe doll. My questions are:
1- Do you take the legs of?
2- Do I insert first the barbie and the cover in fondant
3- Is it one piece of fondant and placed on top like a regular cake or do you recomend to cut a rectangule and cover from side to side.
Thanks any other suggestion will be more than welcomed.
Valentina

Hi, I made a doll using the wonder mold. But I used the barbie doll pick that came with it. First you need to cover the cake with fondant and then decorate the barbie and then insert it into the cake. I have read that some wrap saran wrap around the barbies legs and insert it. But the hole in that cake is quite small. So you can take the legs off and insert the rest in.

If you want to insert dolls legs, make sure the cake is tall enough! If it isn't you might have to bake another cake to get the correct hight.

When I covered the skirt, I used a one piece of fondant.
