I took some samples around to businesses today and came back to the shop where I spent the whole day just cleaning. I organized the storage area. I straightened up the supply of disposable plates, forks, and and napkins that had gotten all jumbled. I organized and stacked all of my rubbermaid containers of catering equipment. I moved kitchen equipment out from the wall and mopped behind it. I moved tables. I got down on my hands and knees and scraped stuff off of the floor. I took that big pile of tablecloths (that had been laying in the corner for a few days) out to the van so I could wash them. The sinks were shiny, the floors were sparkling, the counters were empty.

And then .......


My health inspector came by this afternoon.

Yeah, sometimes things work out JUST fine!

Here, the health inspectors call and schedule an appointment to come see you. Isn't that the dumbest thing you ever heard of? The scary part is that they still find violations.

that happened to me once about 5 years ago...he came after i got done cleaning and scrubbing the baseboards....it was great!

the last time however not so much....after he left i had to have 500.00 bucks worth of repairs done...THEN

after i did em...cleaned like a mad hatter, i called him to see if he was gonna come back...no he didn't think he would have time...i guess they figger if you really WANT them to come...your place must be A OK.
