I would have never even thought of doing anything like this if it wasn't for everyone in this forums inspiration and creativity! I can't believe I did it! LOL!

I'm not sure if it is food safe or not. I'm trying to think of a way to attach them to a cake round that I can place on top of the cake, then cover it with the "ice", so that way when it comes time to cut the cake, all I have to do is just lift the cake round off in one piece and set it aside.

I wish it had a bottom. Because it isn't even on the bottom, it is a little wobbly. It stands up, but it's a leaner. LOL

icon_eek.gif OMG!!!! We had been stuck on the first part, and were lost didnt know how to continue icon_sad.gif to do beer bottles or any bottle...with your pictures...its easier!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Thank you for the photo's! I tried doing this about a year ago, and failed completely!!!! However, after looking at your photo's, I can see where I may have gone wrong. I will have to try again!

Thanks for posting these directions. I love that there are pictures with it, it makes it so much easier to understand when you can see it. Some day I will work up the nerve (or find a reason) to do something like that.

I made some ice today.

I got out my aluminum foil and crinkled it, and then I sprayed it with cooking spray, but I noticed my spray had a yellowish tint to it. It isn't the butter flavor, just regular, so I decided to use Crisco instead. It worked great!

THEN, I thought, well why couldn't I grease an ice cube tray with Crisco, and make actual cubes?

I did it, and it worked, too! They popped right out of the tray, just like real ice.

They do have a yellowish tint to them. It isn't terrible, but I think I am going to try not cooking it so long next time.

Yes!!! Put it in Tutorials...PLEASE icon_cry.gif ...I click print and mine also doesnt print the pictures...I "need" the pictures...Im visual...lol...so what did you use to make the ice? Candy??? Lost sorry...pics??? icon_lol.gif

My question is this for All CCers...when we sit and look at pics here, and we love them, we click save to favorites...how long before WE...start looking like we are a CC web page ourselves? Wonder how many we can save. They should give us files so we can break down our pics...so we dont have to sit and re watch them all when we need an idea...you know: This goes in weddings, this in Baby shower...etc...TELL THEM!!!! icon_razz.gif
