I'm looking to find different fillings for carved cakes. I current use buttercreams, all flavors, and ganache. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any other fillings that can be used on carved cakes, like topsy turvy, that won't make the cake unstable or shaky.

Thanks

I'm a newbie on carved cakes. I just use a layer of jam, it cements the cake together nicely while adding a pop of flavor. I always worry about sliding tiers.

This will bump you up; maybe someone with more extensive knowledge will see you better, and can answer your question.
