What timing! I just got done leaving a comment on your cookies, Pebbles. Simply amazing! Being exposed to all this wonderful talent is what makes CC so special.

Hmmm..I kinda like the idea of "Family Vacation"! It could be particular attraction, something that represent the state of your vacation desitination, the beach, the pool, the woods....(the hospital for my BIL) lots of possibilities!

Hi everyone! I have so enjoyed looking at all the great cookies. I am determined to submit a cookie every month. I have small bags of cookie dough in my freezer. Many times I don't have an order for cookies and don't want to make a large batch. Now I can just thaw out enough for a couple of cookies. I hope this keeps me motivated.

Freddy, thanks for starting this thread. My thoughts are with you and your son.

Pebbles, I love the boxcar children cookies. Loved the book so many years ago.

Knead, I am one of your biggest fans. You have a way with decorating a cookie!

I made these together with my 11 yr old daughter for the books2eat competition here in Shanghai last month. Unfortunately she didn't win, because each person was only allowed to win one prize and I won the people's choice with my cake. I later found out from the head judge, that if my name hadn't been on the team entry, my daughter would have won the children's category. So much for being too honest. I only did the writing, she did all the rest. She is doing Shakespeare in school, so we decided on doing something with that
