Hi everyone,
I came home today with a great surprise. I got a free copy of Taste Of Home Magazine PLUS with a letter enclosed saying that my recipe is feature on page 55.. I submitted a recipe at least 2 yrs. ago.. but now they decided to put it in their April/May issue of TOH Mag. PLUS.. There is no photo of me (Thank God!), but it has my name and city, Elk Grove, CA next to the title of the recipe..here is the cover:

Congratulations. It must be an amazing feeling to have your recipe published and after 2 years to boot!

I've never seen this magazine as I'm still relatively new to the States. Is this something I can pick up from the store or do you have to subscribe to it?

Congrats again! thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif

TOH is one of 2 publications from which I trust (I've never had one fail me from them) every recipe I choose to use.

It is a very simple dessert. Cheesecake Pops, they are like cake balls, but Cheesecake that is baked then shaped into balls... I will post it here tomorrow.. icon_smile.gif They test every recipe they get.. All the recipes they print have been tested.. icon_smile.gif They get thousands of recipes sent to them in a month... that is why it takes them a loooonng time. icon_smile.gif and they also do some research on everyone that they think they like.

Yes, you can get it at Wal-mart and some groceries stores carry it too.
Any book store should have it.

Congrats to you, fondantgrl! Taste Of Home is one of my all time favorite magazines, I buy almost all of their grocery store booklets they have on the checkout aisle....lol. Even bought their huge notebook style cookbooks. I'm a little OCD when it comes to buying cookbooks...... icon_eek.gif

Fondantgirl, I was just looking at my TOH last night, I just got it. and saw that recipe and thought "hey that would be cool and neat to make for my co-workers at work or for a party" and this was before I knew it was you. YOU are the bomb. Congradulations. Can't wait to try it out.

Is it in the April/May edition? What is it called? Maybe we can find the recipe on line? icon_confused.gificon_rolleyes.gif

yes, it is in the April/May edition on page 55. the recipe is called Cheesecake pops. I don't think it would be fair to Fondantgirl to post the recipe with out her permission. So I will let her do that if she wants.
