Has anyone ordered from Fiesta Cake Decorating Supply? Good? Bad? I'm having a BIG issue with them and wondered if it's was a fluke or the norm..

Thanks!
Melia

I've never even heard of them. Where are they located? What have they done?

I hope everything works out!

They are in Hollywood, FL. I found their site when I was looking for topsy turvy pans. www. suppliesforcake .com (minus spaces).

I ordered the 5 piece topsy turvy pan set, for $135. two weeks went by so I called, they said it was on backorder and would ship in day or so. A week later still nothing, so I cancelled the order.

I was looking at my credit card statement online over the weeknd, they charged for the pans, not once, but TWICE!

I called today, they dont speak very good english, suposidly when the manger is in tomorrow they will fix it.

call your credit card, tell them the problem and cancel payment, I don't know just how it works, but the credit card is the place to start.

Oh, I am so sorry this has happened! I have never heard of them but now I have a heads up on not to! I agree that the place to start would be your credit card company! I hope everything works out! Good luck!

Sometimes when stff is back ordered it can cause some kind of confusion with payment. Took me a while to understand pending payments and charges. Call your credit card company. On another note. I called and they seem to be legitimate. She spoke english to me and I understood her clearly.

They were at the cake show in Austin last month with some fantastic sets of pans - both full size and mini. I hope you like your pans when you get them. Could be that they're traveling around doing shows and some things back at the shop are being neglected.

Im sorry to heard that, actually i went there today, I meet the owner Christina, she was really nice. I bougth some stuff; i went there to get the topsy turvy pans, but she told me they probably will come on saturday, and the usually fly... and they are like $30 less than the other places around here... anyway... i ask she about the site, because the store has lots more than the site; she say she is working on it... I'm even planing to take a modeling class with a teacher that comes from Peru. So good luck, and they are legitime.

I would like to know if any one has the topsy pans?

I ordered in Austin last month (the 5 set) and received them w/o any problems. Now that I have them and have tried them I only waste my cakes. They seem to flop. Any one have any idea how to use them?

Don't mean to hijack the post - I need your help!

Thanks,

Toni

OK I have no idea what I am talking about icon_lol.gif but I'll bet they made a mistake and charged your card again instead of doing the refund. They probably forgot to put the minus sign in front of the "amount being charged." Just my 2c! Hope it all works out quickly.

Makes sense ceshell. The way we do credits at my company, I've made the very same mistake. Luckily our manual transactions (credits/debits included) don't feed back to the credit card the same way the automatic transactions do icon_biggrin.gif

I wonder if they maybe even have some back orders where they don't charge the customer until the order is placed, and just assumed they hadn't charged you at the time of the initial order.

ETA: Gotta go check out these pans icon_biggrin.gif Topsy turvy is the next big thing I want to conquer icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

This is so nice, that you could post this and let everybody know that this business is legitimate and that you know them personally. Every business has bumps in the road sometimes, not to mention the human error factor.

Anyway, this post just struck me as super nice and helpful thumbs_up.gif , so I wanted to tell you that icon_smile.gif .

Looks like they are just getting their site up and running and have a ton of info to upload still. I have added it to my favs...gonna check back later. I wonder what the quality of the pans and how they bake as it almost looks like the pans have a seam on one side like some cutters do.

If the items were back ordered your card should have never been charged. I worked at a bank in the credit card department and it's illegal to charge a credit card until the item is shipped.
