well i got quite a lot of shards on the cake top and a few on the bottom under the painting and still have some in the packet. Tis now blue though as I coloured it all :)

exactly! I was going to by the pure isomalt but would have needed thermometer pans, gloves, heat lights etc....why do that when u can pop it in the microwave :lol:

It's quicker but not cheaper :-) Ready made = perfect for little bits, larger projects cost a fortune in ready made :-)

AThanks roxy, I do feel in need of virtual hugs as I'm sat in my dusty kitchen with no light as the wall's been blocked up:-(

We don't talk about an end date as it should have been done two weeks ago but still nowhere near. Moral of the story is don't hire an architect who lies about who he works with, and who, it turns out, is not an architect but a draftsman. Several thousand pounds and several weeks over time we feel like sticking some isomalt where the sun don't shine!

i was just pondering what to do (spontaneous button pushed!) and spotted my lace that ive not even opened!

 

I think it was nanny that asked me what mats i had a few days ago and ive no idea as i tend to open packets and put away lol so here they are...maybe u know what they are but ive a wedding cake dummy i can try them on :D

oooh lizzy i feel your pain, im having similar issues with a car! Been stuck in this house for nearly 6 months without one as the guy that sold my hubby the car said it was fine, then something went and he said oh yeah i can do that and it just went on and on. My hubby has to use mine so im stuck grrr!

 

Im sure you will make a fabby cake once its done :-D
