Thanks Jean. I can do it on the pc but can't figure it out on my phone. There's probably a way in just not looking in the right place.
Ooh Kathy two kitchens would be amazing! I love baking but hate cooking whereas my boyfriend is an amazing cook so we're constantly fighting over the kitchen haha. Plus it's tiny hence the reason all my cake stuff is stored in the spare room. A cake room would be amazing too though!
Sugaluva, open the video in safari (or whatever internet app you have) not on the app or via google. Once it is open highlight the address bar at the top and then copy it to then paste in a message here.
I don't know for other phones but on iphone if you open in google at the bottom of the screen there is a box with an arrow pointing up out of it, you can also open in safari from there or copy the url and then paste directly here.
hope this helps.
once you've designed it you can save and email and if anything needs changing you can just open up and click click away lol
What tool is it Tiddylicious? My daughter is an engineer and has some design software - so I could be really interested in this. Do you own an Apple pc? Sorry - just being nosey! Love it by the way ....
Just saw Bashini's comment and had to race to "Favourites" - well done Nanny!
Kathy

Morning cakey friends! Blimey - what a lot of stuff to catch up on!! Welcome Frenchiejo - I briefly read your post and all I can say is YouTube everything. I found a good site for all beginner things and more - All things cake Utah. If you Google that site it should have something to help you if it's a new skill you are looking for. There are loads of others on there including Mich Turner and Tracey's Cakes and some really good unknowns too. I found out how to do the upside down frosting with YouTube - I learn much better when I see how it's done.
Hope you are all well and enjoyed the weekend - I have been house hunting (well just starting really) but my husband is not too keen on my wanting two kitchens! He said it's not necessary! Am thinking that I might even get to squeeze a cake room out of this eventually....well if two kitchens is a bit much - then I might be able to have a room just for me!
Kathy
Kathy you need to point out that with two kitchens you will be able to make even more delicious food for him and if that doesn't work bribe him with chocolate cake and other erm things until he gives in. :D
We won't be moving for a few years but desperately need to really. I shall be pushing for a room for me and my caking :)
Tiddy - thanks for that - am going to ask DD if she wants to "share" it. I only asked about your pc since I know that some design software works better on a Mac.
Aaah Siany - I like your point - however, I think he can work out which kitchen I would be spending all my time in (he's not daft!). We plan to move starting next year - we were just doing "look and see" trips.
Blinkin' 'eck Jean - a gym is not just for Christmas! Haha - I can talk. I am thinking of researching the "Couch to 5k" - it sounds too simple though......(off to eat chocolate while googling she thinks.....)
AOh good grief, I've been out for 3 hrs and now look I have loads to Catch up on!
Bashini, as I'm chuffed, how does that happen? I've never uploaded any picsbefore so did last night.
AWell, well, I have no idea to to get to galleries, dont know how i managed to upload anything last night.
Hi Nanny - I think that every time you embed a photo into this thread it appears on the home page. It must mean that other people have clicked on it loads of times to elevate it to "Favourites" - and why not - they are great cakes!
AHa right. But then I am in good company on here, everyones cakes on our little thread should be in the favourites shouldn't they?.
Well done Nanny they are beautiful cakes
I kind of have a cake room I shelved the old wardrobe in my spare room to store my cake stuff and bought a table from ikea to go in there so I can do stuff in there. I was always halfway through something on the dining table and had to move it all so we can have tea. It's great for when I'm using my airbrush stops me spraying half the kitchen. I need to treat myself to a chair I've been sitting on a wooden stepping stool that you use to reach the top of the cupboards in you kitchen, but I've been to busy buying new cake stuff to think of using the money for a chair haha.

sounds like me!
AThanks for the welcomes everyone and thank you for the YouTube recommendations - like I don't spend enough time on the internet already! :D
I'm doing couch to 5k - I'm very slow, I started in January and I'm only just up to run 10 minutes, walk for 5 and run for 10 again. I feel I ought to try and do something to combat all the cake I eat! If I can do it anyone can!
As I said, I mainly do cupcakes at the minute. I keep hens so have a constant glut of eggs. I bake and send my creations into hubby's work. They're very popular and keep telling me I should do it as a business but I can't because the eggs aren't lion branded. Shame really as I think my free range girls' offerings make all the difference to my cakes. They taste much nicer.
AYes its a shame as I work with a woman who keeps chucks, but unfortunately it was one of the first things the EHO checked when he came to inspect my kitchen Frenchiejo.
AKathy couch to 5k is great. I did it and the first time I ran for 35 mins flat and did that 5k was absolutely amazing. Sods law I then got injured last Oct and have been out since. I'm going to try and go for a walk tomorrow but last time I did that (since injuring my hip) I ended up with runners toe and and now sporting an ugly black toe nail :(. I miss the gym and running so badly.
I started doing the Park Runs (Tredegar Park in Newport) they are amazing for 5k. Free plus all your timings are kept on a database. I'm slow, husband in top 20 and my 8yr old is in the top 10 for his age group. I was born short and now stocky. I was doing loads rowing is great but HITT is amazing if you can get to kettlebells and its a good one with lots of snatching that will get you fit and losing calories. I spend sometime on MFP which is great for recording weight and fitness. Cant spend too much time on forums have work, kids and home to sort - I dont really have the time for cakes!!!!!
AAnd I'm about 2 hours away! There are too many good cake bakers in Wales haha. I'm surprised you lot can hardly move around without tripping over cake!
AJust catching up and i did couch to 5k last year too and it's great! I'm injured too Siany so annoying and frustrating, my running machine now comes in handy for drying washing!!
Well done Nanny on your pics ;-)

Really? how come I always use my eggs and you can sell them farmgate there are no rules on selling eggs. Whats the difference - surely if you insure yr business if you go commercial. I used to sell meat farmgate as long as it was done properly. Common sense says pasture raised chickens are going to have less risk that industrial. I would check this.
AThats what the man said and I wasnt gonna argue with him, he said its cos they hadn't been screened! I wanted my 5 rating so if he wanted a Barbie doll on them I wouldav stamped it on top chasinmytail, ha ha.

This is a joke about traceability in the UK - all very well but you dont keep the shells with the stamp mark if there was an issue so the whole thing falls apart. Be difficult to prove or argue really who would know? Personally I wouldnt worry about it as far as I am concerned there is a big risk with industrial eggs anyway, my flock is registered and I could easily get them tested on a regular basis so that would cover me. A stamp mark means very little - it is a stamp just like a meat slap mark stamp. Cakes are cooked over 100 degrees.
