Guess who's geeky (but lovely) hubby took screenshots of some of "you know who's" facebook pages before they mysteriously disappeared?

Have a look at this link (hope it works for you) https://www.google.co.uk/search?tbs=sbi:AMhZZitautnGi7KeL53Qyi-IFughv2CNjg74C8LqpAGpt6YTLQ53pZWoeqJCANYMkEpHHU_1PxXgNnA0iDeOCld0uLB9DlkmCDuIeTVZAX1pDqvI4bs1dxvhgAMIWi8VSI44q_1GuvJUYVVSKV88JMdxRtYoRiTnygx3BiFtHgMoGUzj4AnfKV8bclq1jtynCazqPvhQ8nRgVXbZUf-c02CDnayj7HtyFEnJE4ShtLa_1CO-M1q_1EUtbWXOCKM_1PAGnlbuj_1YYZHOsBY2h-bQ76H9b6DGEfDCPest-z6R3eD-Fp8GXoCkQQ4qWKPYBpCQTiJr_1J4AIeaCQ-4ZiC_1fmc9W8RD95nXdK2VSq1wVM-ce5tcQGZsw3-sEJ7M00ovkr_14E5WNJXuH5j23pVMBTnqfkPbdncAzMhQ97J1GIbl7-f7tWS52wOq4yxKzXd76EI8FA16y7xrzZwc5TPjSzaAYGXjGnB1Q8HoEoIfO-d89_1oKe0wZAGc3CMNGP7foRCwuBrzON7UBG8-0HJWaZivUnXIBiQAQEP96lpMNQknXcJLhhpPI3bxscN5L5ev5Wi9lpuBsNN1Rqj8VNFYq43a6f7HMk2AR5UnRDFT4-mJyquup71aA5hey6yI175YYBhmm5mlOV6MzhT-TLeVi1Y-CIVJlUnUEDiAkh7czTuHv8G-sqYGJfiiJN7f0qkuTe6DHh_143u3moNJOiEAMKe3DCiB1NDBLmBIZapc5Pu82dbBjtMBlYdZsf59B7BVpzllyZt1wsrwTWNOowVyMCMdHaLYB-10JqOIv_1S1NwInkwtvGFTkFqcN9j5pWnqhAUjC7ZEirs9IA2W9a4S5QFYw0BEPmVyKLFY_1MjNC-Is04LTQnez703KGDzbsDDaNLH51l_1VaksszN6qdZXKOPLaiFtZZMvhE8unHjAIKSQ5baj1tGpU174Wkwx-eJTNB0BeAv6laODP0gpQ38Onx-3NpW8_1nvbSpLofQoVEjNygKs9bP1YvIUNe0i8k5_1vB3hPsDFDueq0RmlOL4EmjWCuhZs0klzd7_1OomzzsuqFefuWxv3lG02t2s8t9SmBzGeFaGfXGoB3Fx1ESCE22Kvv2yfqRG45z9TnHnn4WlfHRHprvRKng5U-5MrR40My9kdn5fF6V0GxTOwke2ikNQYbi91f0XcDpCP6TEpCpm6ryX2oY3u2BWORU-5wnCKLskaAR2q72kQBi1iW7WVjWrsYGLuYY-tt9SpjypOWIGXCB2MsYK370ZhcBF-11tyw9PhL0lUlYrTvUTuRSgPXNAyzGWH9M5W68kWrZ9rTZWQ0WjprlMEPs9LyEGvcKGhMVR0q4Jgyz_1fg2704tgpON8AmzYE-MFT9Ik8-j1r56sbQDs8XCw3ST5_10nENtySHEinzkNsBglwaEVbQA-O7uTnN1aQ886Lm7C6da5ypA6FVGCiCEt2DSehYLtZYvTjcziH-SltTvE-V7lXYeRVrP4&btnG=Search%20by%20image

Wow! that's got to be the longest link I've ever seen...

So the question is, who actually took the photo in the first place? Copy of screenshot is attached for clarity (and yes, it was 1.08am :) )

ALast one of the weekend and something a little different to my usual style. Is for my mother's organisation. Thinking I should've covered it with a red now, rather than a white.

Mother-in-law really likes it though...? Sent mummy a picture and'll see what she says.

AThat's cool M4rvel, very different :-)

Well I feel sick. I made doughnuts. I ate doughnuts. Krispy Kreme type glazed rings, sugar coated holes, and jammy dead bodies :-D Made hubby apple filled maple glazed a la gbbo, and custard filled for eldest (his first go at making custard)

Here's one of the men :-)

Siany, I'm not very good with FB. I've been to the cake page circle, but can't find the 'Cake Page Introductions' where I'm supposed to introduce myself and tag my page. What do I do?

Tiddy, I'm glad you're going to have yourself checked out- long overdue I think if you've had a droopy face for a while! Big hug from me xxx

I can't find the join tab for the cake page circle group. Urgh I'm such a doofus.

Marvel, the white works better IMO :)

Morning cake mates!  M4rvel that cake is absolutely lovely.  I really like the concept.  I like the white - think it was a good choice.

Tiddy - wishing you well at the doctor's today.

Lizzy - those doughnuts are cute - were they difficult to make?  The flavours sound amazing.  My hubby has been told about apple cider doughnuts and is badgering me to try them....never done them before.

Hmm - I've clicked on the link to join the FB cake group but I don't know how to get to the bit it is asking you to complete within 24 hours.  It says go to the "file"  section - but I can't even see that.  I'm stumped.  :-(

Snap :-)

Morning all, how's everyone today?

My youngest is off with a streaming cold (normally I would send them in with anything less than limbs falling off but he looks dreadful poor chap) and I need to clean the house from top to bottom. Ah, the life I lead.

Do you remember I mentioned a while ago about a lady whose done some wedding fairs that I've been at? She's incredible; massively talented and annoyingly a completely lovely and down to earth person. Well I've just found out that she's recorded her first tutorial for pretty witty cakes! She's Mia tambini of fatcakes. Don't look at her website if you're feeling wobbly about your cakes, it will not make you feel better! I know this from experience :-D

Thanks Kathy :-) No, I just used a gingerbread man cutter :-D The doughnut recipe is gorgeous though. I normally follow a recipe to the tee, but I amalgamated bits I liked from several I tried for these (so essentially other far cleverer people took the time to make good recipes and I just nicked the best bits :-D) and they come out so light and fluffy. I very rarely make them though as even I can't pretend these are ok for you :-D I'll stick the recipe on UKBC if you fancy clogging your arteries too :-)

How would you do apple cider? Hubby would love them!

Good luck at the docs today tiddy x

Lizzy - I think this was the recipe he found: http://www.spoonfulofflavor.com/2013/10/21/baked-apple-cider-donuts/  it's not a true doughnut though - not sure if our USA pals will agree that you can bake a doughnut!  Am also conscious of my arteries - plus I am dangerous near a pan of hot oil which is why we don't have a deep fat fryer any more :(

AKathy, I have just been approved to join despite not tagging my page??!

Maybe it's because I did the request whilst logged in as my fb page, not my personal one? Or maybe I'll be kicked off again in 24 hours if I haven't physically tagged my page!

Not got a clue. It's really a perpetual state for me on fb :/

AThey look lovely! It's from an American cook so I think they'd count as authentic. :-D

I've done baked before (mini ones) and they are very nice, just a different texture, but still delicious!

AI just came on to tell you that Kathy :-D

So they add you and now we tag our page, I think that's right?

I'm going to have to do it on the lappy though as it's linking to the wrong page. When I set fb up I didn't realise you needed a business page so I mistakenly set up a normal one. Trouble is, by the time I realised I had a load of 'friends' so am now running two pages, one correct and one against fb rules :/ I want to shut down the wrong one but don't want to lose the reach I have from the people on it!
