Well after your "chat" with Nanny the other day, I got the painting flowers on cake book plus a stencil book by the same author!  They are due to come today (I also ordered another one by Zoe Clark as Amazon have this knack of showing you stuff which they think you might like - and, of course, you do!!).  Each time you post a cake I think this is the best one but if I'm honest, this is my most favourite out of all your cakes to date.

Aww thanks foxy!

It is Sunday :o just hope i can get there now as the head really isnt leaving off! I did manage to have stern words with my doctor who decided that yes it was ok to give me 16 injections for the whole week rather than two days at a time

Ive a three tier wedding cake to do today (havent even looked at it yet) for delivery tomorrow morning 8-O and have all my sample cakes to finish.

This is a kind of all or nothing one for me i think! I spent 9 years in the wedding business but this is my first time as a cake maker :D bit unnerving but at least i know what the fayres are all about as we did many of them before. I have a few tricks up my sleeve too ;-D

Just want a normal nights sleep now to refresh me from my current zombie like demeanour lol. Poor Mr Tiddy has missed me as ive been on the sofa next to the o2 most nights although he seems to think he knows the perfect cure for a headache

Nanny the cuppies are fab, love the pink ones too!

Speaking of cupcakes, Siany how are you getting on! Hope yours are all going ok? X

Tiddy your wedding cake is lovely, simply elegant. I hope you head leaves you alone so you can go and enjoy the fayre, good that the doctor finally gave you all the injections at once at least you won't have to worry so much about running out and waiting to get them of the doctor. I forgot about your van did you get it signed up yet?

Nanny well done getting all the cupcakes done, they look great especially like the pink ones, your handbags are cute.

Chezzabelle good luck with the cookie.

AWow Tiddy , wondered where you had been. Love both but the painted cake is particularly gorgeous. Can't believe you jus practised that for the first time a few days ago. Is there nothing you can't turn your hand to??

Well done on the cupcakes Barbara. Now can you go and enjoy your holiday?

Maisie how could you do that to us?

Morning cake mates! Just checking in for 2 mins as I'm packing and leaving for Cornwall in the early hours of tomorrow.  Lovely cake Tiddy - very elegant (the painted one is still my favourite but only just! ;)).

I don't even watch bake off but even my 23 year old son asked me if I had heard the news!  How funny - it's everywhere.  Sounds like a conspiracy to me - 40 seconds doth not ruin an ice cream.  You need 3 hours for that (personal experience! Haha).

Have a lovely day everyone.

Kathy
