Well at least your all making cakes!! I haven't made one in 3 weeks, whats that about? Saying that I did have an inquiry for one tonight, sports car on top of a cake.
Nah, not nose job, John calls me puggy nose, but no to that, try again.
Thread/varicose vein type stuff. Don't hit me!!!!
AI'm building up a lovely photo of me here, I have a big nose with sticky out ears, ha ha ha.
I'm feeling sorry for you now, go on one more try.
ALmao! Did she hit you m4rvel?!
Laser eye surgery? Hmm, probably not.
Another clue? When you've finished with m4rvel!
ASo thats big nose, big ears and varicose veins, omg, you guys crack me up!
Out of interest marvel did you pick varicose veins cos I'm standing up most of the day?

I'm trying to think of small things that wouldn't be an issue with a holiday looming.
Ooooooh! Lazer eye surgery?!!
AThat looks nice siany, what flavour is it?
No marvel, now I have big nose, ears that stick out, lumpy legs and I cant see properly, sounds like 60% of the people that visit my shop, Ha ha ha
AAw I was gona say that!
I was!!!!!
Did you lose weight and need the excess removed nanny?
Ooh Siany that looks and sounds delish!
ANot really Maisie, I had 2 c sections, 2 within 17mths of each other, my muscles just went, I had a saggy belly, and decided I hated it that much, why didn't you exercise I hear you all say, I did, used to swim 40 lights, do sit ups, nothing worked, so for my 5oth birthday thats what I did, very painful, dont regret it one bit.
AHi Maisie, :)
I am a bit nervous because of the squares and I am going to try doing it like on the tutorial. And your figure is much better than one on there!!! :-)
Siany, did you use milk or lemon juice ? Did it bake well?
Hi Barbara, when are you going to get that done then? :-)
AI've never had a caesarean nanny and I can't shift my belly. It's the last place I lose weight from and the first place I put it on. Even when I was young, fit as a fiddle and before I had babies I had a bit of a belly. I can't believe I used to moan about it, looking at it now I'd give anything to have my 20 year old belly back!
AYes the things we all take for granted Maisie!!
I cant even blame it on putting on alot of weight during pregnancy, only put a stone on and Sarah was 10lb 3oz, which is why I had a c section.
AI went from 10 stone to 14 with my son. I was 10 stone at 22 weeks mind, 14 at 35! And he was 5.11! Saying that I went from being extremely fit and active to being really ill and doing practically nothing. I drank gallons of full cream milk a day to stop heartburn, I left the army and left all the exercise that goes with it and I had blood clots and pre eclampsia. The family size galaxy's and cream cakes had nothing at all to do with it! :-D

I did replace the milk with lemon juice, I was a bit worried as it curdled a bit when I added the last of the lemon juice but it came out lovely. I was prepared to have to rebake this evening if it was not good when I cut it but its lovely.
Second one done and its ok. I had to do a rescue patch up as the sodding thing ended up not level. I just peeled back half the greaseproof and stuck some more ganace on. Its not as sharp as I would of liked now, well, one side isn't lol Just going to cover it in a min and then I am done for tonight. I took the kids out today so I have been put seriously behind, hence the late night caking.
Dont' even speak to me about tummy muscles, 4 kids and I have a permanent jelly belly now lol. I may get something done when I have managed to get to my goal weight, of course, you have to actually stop eating rubbish to do that but its my birthday on Monday so that's not happening this week hahaha
ADon't you wish chocolate and lettuce would swap calories! I say "I wish" all the time but most of the time it would be a waste of a wish wouldn't it. This one wouldn't be!
I'm off to bed now, night nanny, night everyone. :-)
AOh btw Siany, you saying birthday reminded me of one of your earlier posts, get the agbay. Night night.:-)
I know exactly how you felt Nanny and if I had the money I would seriously think about having a tummy tuck myself. I had a c section because the cord was wrapped around my Angel's neck, My stomach hangs over and it doesn't matter what I do it doesn't change it. I was told the c section damages the muscles so they can't tone up. I lost about two and a half stone after I had her and went from 16 to a 12 and still my stomach was the same. It gets on my nerves and when it's itchy I can;t scratch it it's like it's numb. Like scratching when you have bad pins and needles, weird.
Marvel like the toppers, I thought you'd made the dice yourself. I was thinking I wish I could pipe look how good they are
Siany your cake sounds delish and is looking good. I love the upside down method i find it really easy. The board on top method is good to especially for square cakes.
Thanks Maisie and Jo cake is going ok so far. Covered and all cage bits on, just need to make some flowers and leaves in the morning to decorate it. I wanted to put an impression in the cage bit but I forgot so it will have to be plain now,
Night Maisie
Siany did you use a level for you cakes, i didn't have one the first time and did ok but have since bought a small one from the poundshop and you would be surprised how much you use it,

Ok just back from Bicester - I couldn't help myself.
FYI Mel the Hobbycraft there had never heard of colour shapers so I guess it will have to be an online order. Had to hit Lakeland though to quell my disappointment!
Has anyone found anything useful for storing flower wires? I would love to find something deep enough with slots so I could have each gauge of wire separated.
I use a cereal pouring box minus the lid and toilet roll cardboard inners with sharpie on them for the gauge!

Not perfect by a long shot (see what I did there?) but it's tough!
It looks really good Kelsey, I like the way you've done the stripes on the board like the pitch.
