Kathy

I have used tCDC several times before (my other half went to school with the owners daughter! small world!!) but it would seem they don't do the gumpaste any more :-(  That is where I got my first batch after a course but just called them and alas, they don't stock it now...just Satin Ice and their own stuff which they make themselves.  I love the Choco-Pan stuff and don't really want to change.  I've emailed Choco-pan directly to see if they have any other UK distributors so fingers crossed...it gave me a quote for shipping...$169!  Ha!  Definitely need a trip to the US of A!

AI think its just badly bruised Roxy, could be so much worse, like a break, lol. Never mind I'm enjoying all the sympathy, ha ha.

I'm tough ole bird, never have nothing wrong like colds etc, aches or pains, until I go on hols, hubby says, I'm the worse traveller of all time, the first thing we do is find the chemist, the last 3 times we went got a bad chest infection, counldnt speak, then I burnt my lip, then got stung, I think he dreads me going with him, ha HS.

AOh my gosh nanny you sound like me when we travel. Im terrible.

I guess it doesn't help when hubby gives me a senna to take with a glass of Turkish tap water and I didn't find out until later but was tap water. It a max strength senna! You can imagine the flight home with turbulence hahah! Funny now but I wanted to slaughter him at the time!

I'm sure that a cold press and an elevated leg will help nanny. Don't forget those trusty finger clicks that magically makes things you want appear! :D

Hi snowflakebunny :)

Bloody hell Nanny you don't have much luck on holiday do you? Maybe this time because you've hurt yourself before you go you'll be fine when you get there. Agree with Kuuushi elevated leg and cold press .

Kuuushi your gonna have a busy week, looking forward to seeing your minnie cake have been wanting to do one for ages for my mum but always change to something else that pops in my head.

AHi everyone...:-)

Suzanne, gorgeous cake and sorry about what happened. But glad all were ok with the customer at the end. :-)

Barbara... Sorry about your little accidents but hope you get better soon.

Lizzy, beautiful cake and the elephant is sooo cute!!!!:-)

Kathy, I bought the white and the black lace mix and will be using at the end of the month. I hate to think about the colour bleeding to the cake if I airbrush the laces and that's whole reason I bought the ready coloured mix.

Hi snowflakebunny..... I also like to do a trip to USA. I check on google and I didn't see any uk sellers having the chocopan products. I even checked Global Sugar Art. Actually you can contact them through here and inquire about it. They use to have a separate thread for GSA. I have to say I love their chocolate paste!!! Never found anything nicer than that. It is very chocolaty and sooo much easier to use. Have you thought about using Satin Ice gum paste? It is actually really good.

I was aiming for very pink.  The fact its on a dummy made it easier I think.  I got the tutorial from Way beyond Cakes by Mayen.  Been wanting to try it for ages , it takes a while to do but its not too hard..  Its my bottom tier for my birthday cake.

It looks great Siany,I really like the pink, my main living room wall is bright pink with black butterfly stickers on it. Are you making your own birthday cake then, like my house then only get one if you make it yourself.
