Well done Siany that's great progress, I'd say you are getting excited now!
It is exciting but terrifying at the same time
www.facebook.com/sianys.cakery. hopefully that will work :)
I know lol, I don't like to dive right in as it drives me nuts to wait a week for the next episode so I record them to watch later
my fb has gone mental tonight! So many random enquiries....oooh and i went past the 500 this week! Eeeek!
AYikes you lot have been chatty! Yay for 1000 pages though! We need to bake a cake to celebrate....
Ok no idea where to start so here goes:
Tiddy love the Lego cake it's so cute!
Siany your clouds and rainbows are lovely too! And you are only about a week older than me by the sounds of it LOL! August is, of course, the best time for birthdays ;)
Marvel, yay glad your delivery went ok! Sounds a little strange about the cake sucking up the filling though, could it have melted a bit? As long as it tastes nice! Jealous of your mini break too, I really need to get italy ticked off my 'places to go' list!
Maisie NYC is amazing, you'd love it, I hope you get the chance to go one day!
Newstreet, sorry I missed that your daughter was poorly, hope she's doing ok.
Roxy I think it was you who asked about the head mould etc? I got the eyes and mould from here http://www.windsorcakecraft.co.uk/annelies_van_tessel_open_lace_moulds.html , but the mould isn't listed any more for some reason, it's this one though http://www.carinascupcakes.com/product_p/avt3h.htm It was really easy to use, just watch the video on you tube. The eyes are brilliant! I'm definitely going to buy more of the different sheets!
I can't wait for Bake Off! Not too fussed with Mr Hollywood, love Mary and Mel & Sue though! One celeb chef I can't stand is James Martin - saw him at Good Food a few years ago and he was plain grumpy and rude! Not a nice man! I'm with Jean though, Bradley Cooper for me, if we're choosing lol! Or David Boreanaz, but I'm a Buffy/Angel geek LOL!
Oooh Nanny those cupcakes look gorgeous!!!! I love caramel, dulce du leche, fudge.....yum! Lizzy stop teasing with the cheesecake too, I'm drooling now
Argh another massive post, sorry people, I'll be quiet now!

just out of interest how many of you are personal buddies on fb?
I've liked your page from my personal fb tiddy. Saw your lovely lego cake and Jimmy choo cakes earlier they look fantastic. I really want to make a lego cake!
AHi Roxy, I made the bodies myself, I bought Brenda Waltons topper class on Craftsy which was a huge help. I had to tweak hers as mine had different outfits, and I wasn't too keen on her style of heads for this job, but it gave me a good basis to start from. I coloured the flesh tone myself, added teeny bit of sugarflair paprika/flesh and teeny bit of rose pink to white flowerpaste.
