Hmmm - however, did you notice the worksheet?....it might even have legs if it was used as a template for a 2d cake by somebody out there but.....and I really hate to say this... this person has wayy better marketing skills than actual skills.

Changing the subject now.  Does anybody subscribe to Pretty Witty Cakes? I got a FB notification that they have reduced 'classes' and they have a few on cake business tutorials. I think it's £12 a month to join.

Kathy

Kathy, go in dinkydoodles FB page, she has a link to do a trial for 2 weeks for a quid. I have just signed up, I'm just deciding between pretty witty and Paul Bradford so thought this would help. Paul Bradford would win hands down but pretty witty has dawn butler so I'm torn now as I love her :)

morning all....sadly I was correct and the demon has indeed returned :( very very rare to get a one off attack but positive thoughts and all that. Boy did it let me know it was here! Two attacks two hours apart starting like clockwork at 2am so had very little sleep.

Despite the fact that my very lovely doctor and chemist rushed me through a prescription for some injections i decided not use them and went with the oxygen. Big mistake so I shall have to be brave and inject on the next one :( just hate the bruising and stiff neck etc that goes with them as well as trying to inject when your in that much pain you cant keep still.

Ive mr AC/DC man coming to collect today so i best try and make myself look human, other than that I just dont know now.  If im not here for a while you know why.

P.S Paul Bradford every time :D

Oh Tiddy- so sorry to hear that.  And you have tons to do as well don't you for tomorrow?  Will be thinking of you.

Siany and Tiddy - thanks for the Paul Bradford "nod" and also the Dinky FB page.  Trouble is - I think most of them have pluses and minuses - just need to make a decision.

ATiddy can your other half or one of your older kids do your injection for you? Hope you feel better soon.

I am totally in the Paul Bradford camp but I do love dawn butler and she is exclusive on pretty witty.

Kathy Paul Bradford also has a sale on at the moment.

ATough act to follow though the tutorial lady is, here's my (almost) ninja-ed Olaf. Not entirely happy with the face, but that's the problem with recognisable characters isn't it? So I'm going to ignore my qualms and be positive for once: pretty happy with this - especially for a 12hr turnaround... :)

ANanny that's amazing! I have a doc mcstuffins cake next month and I will be using the idea of the tools for that!

Marvel, if you used the demonic olaf tut and came out with that you should be VER VERY pleased! The face is awesome! Looks exactly like Olaf!

Do you have an airbrush machine now or did you use lustre dust for the blue shading?

Must confess, I didn't USE the tutorial. Original design inspired by one of the promotional posters for the film.

I've always had an airbrush, but I used shimmer spray on this one. xx

AThanks for the link marvel!

Well doc mcstuffins is this little kid who has the power to talk to her toys! She wants to be a doctor and fixes up her toys when they're ill. So she has these main toys, Halle who is a hippo and she's her sidekick nurse who gets her tools for her. Lamby who is well, a lamb. Stuffy who is a little blue dragon and chilly who's a stuffed snowman.

She's actually gives put quite sound advise lol. Drinking lots of water in the sun, sharing, taking a bath and cleaning teeth.

Much prefer he to watch that than some of the crap they have on tv!

Seems to have done the trick so far. Nights are my enemy when im in a cycle :( It truly is like clockwork and at first I would just stay awake til 3am to avoid the two oclock pain...didnt work :(

I'm watching too, whilst dozing. Was up 'til 1.30am and back up at 7.30 with Olaf.

Last episode:

Beach cake - good from a distance, but didn't like the cut-out effect on the paisley and the back looked awful. Should've back-to-backed the flowers.

Foot stool: Just... what?!

Masquerade cake: Liked it, but again, the finish wasn't perfect. Makes me feel so much better about my own work. Loved the masks though!

ATotally agree marvel, h2b hated the beach cake!! The back a as terrible and so was the cut out effect.

Agree with the masquerade cake, never feel that mercy beaucoup do clean work. It's always slap dash and the picture is taken from about three foot away!! I. Can't believe they let the pastiage dry even though it was cracked. Whaaaaaaat?!

I love Laurie but the foot stool... For a grooms cake... Had the impression he wasn't impressed. "Like, where's mah football or bobble head man?!"
