AWow just spent ages catching up on 14 pages that I missed in 2 days! Well I say catching up, I started off and then had to skim the end because I'm running out of time. You lot can chat!

Lizzy - it really bugs me about prices too. I don't even sell my cakes but when I say I'll do something for cost of ingredients and then ask for £40 they don't believe that I'm not making a profit for a big cake!

Tiddy - another lovely frozen cake, I can't believe you make them so fast!

Nanny - those cupcake toppers are really cute!

Can't remember who the batman and Robin belong too but I love them!

I think that was some of what I missed... Though probably not all.

Ps. My eye candy of choice - Ian Somerhalde! :D

That agbay is very expensive, what does it do that a normal leveller doesn't do?

Siany that cake is lovely and a great job for your first time quilting.

Just googled Ian Somerhalder I didn't know his name but he's gorg love vampire diaries.

AOoh I've been coveting the agbay too. Must have missed that in the Convo? The shipping seems expensive to import one over here though. I was wondering if it was something I could find when I go to New York. Would have to check I'm allowed it in my case though!

Roxy - Ian somerhalde is more than gorgeous haha. I live vampire diaries too. I went to watch the new film he was in the other day and for what the film lacked in storyline he made up in smoldering looks haha

Haha Lizzy, what does it do though I know it levels the cakes but does it have extra settings or something, I have heard about it a lot an just wondering why it is so popular and worth that price tag.

It would cost more than that for the customs charges if you get stuck with them.

ARoxy, google a video where the abgay man demonstrates it! It was like I shouldn't have watched it like it was illegal or something!

ARoxy that's including customs. Hubby2b imports from all around the world with his collectors items. I don't have a clue which is why I asked him :D but I can tell you about 40ft containers being shipped on water and getting docked. Just not domestic :)

AI've not got one roxy so can't talk from experience, I just know I had a couple of cheap levellers way back when, and they were awful. You'd think they'd gone through dead straight but find they'd twisted in the middle and caused internal damage, or when they got the the edge they'd pull half the cake off when you pulled them out.

It's because they were so dreadful that I can level properly with a knife now, but I'm still wanting the Agbay! After all, I can straighten my hair well with a dryer and a brush, but my straighteners don't half make it easier and better :-)

ADone all my embellishments for my Moshi Monsters cake this evening. Also the bits for the frozen cake wired decoration. Lot of first attempts at things on these two, so LOADS of stuff to potentially go wrong!!

Re. The cake leveller thing - Agbay? - I just have a bog-standard leveller and never had any problems with it...?

We'll need to know his reaction. Ideally a reaction picture, so we can judge his suitability (fitness levels) for ourselves...
