How Do I Get Dark Chocolate Buttercream?

I want to make a cake that has dark chocolate buttercream. Not so dark it's crazy but just a deeper brown than the usual. I have two kind of cocoa powder, reg. hershey and hershey special dark. What would you guys do to make a dark and delicious chocolate buttercream? Do you have any recipes? Would I also add some brown food coloring? I don't want to use too much because I am afraid it would have an off taste.
Thanks for any help!
I would use the special dark, but it will have a deeper flavor. Can you use a gel dye like for fondant?
I have used this recipie, Chocolate Syrup Frosting. I think I have seen Hersheys syrup in dark chocolate in the store. That might give you the color. Also it is not buttercream. I does crust somewhat. It is a fantastic frosting and I highly recommend it.

The Fluffy Chocolate Frosting recipe in "The Cake Mix Doctor" is a lovely dark chocolate color and very yummy!! It also crusts over in about 10 minutes so you can Melvira it!!
Make a standard chocolate buttercream (with cocoa powder). Add melted baking chocolate (the little paper wrapped squares). This will make the icing darker & very chocolate-y!
You can always darken it further with brown gel food coloring.
I made the "My Chocolate Buttercream" recipe submitted by brickflor here on CC. It came out nice and dark, and I used the regular Hershey' cocoa. If you want it even darker, you might try adding black coloring rather than the brown, which is no darker than this icing. Good luck with your cake!
