For my twins' birthday party, I'm copying their invites onto a cake. I have everything else done (the animals, cake, frosting made) now I'm a little stuck. I'm figuring out how to get the background frosting the right color. In the picture it looks light yellow, but on the invite it's a greenish-yellow. I'm not sure what color I would use to achieve it. Anyone have any suggestions??
I'm not sure what to suggest but I would love to see the finished product -be sure to post it when you are finished! Good luck!
Test a small amount with lemon yellow and a touch of mint....it's kinda hard to tell on the computer. HTH.
I've seen these invites b4 -very cute - I'd do a lime green then add yellow till its what your looking for HTH!

Greenish yellow with a blue base? Or greenish yellow with a lime base? Blue-based would be lemon yellow and try adding just a touch of juniper. If the juniper pulls it down too much, you can try leaf green for the more lime-yellow effect. HTH!
It looks like a greenish base. Looks like everyone is saying lemon yellow as the base. I'm sorry - I know its harder to tell on the computer. Thank you!
I would try one drop of electric green and one yellow and a lot of white bc or white fondant and go from there
