I never find my icing tooooo sweet but then everybody has a different in teast.

I read some time this week about adding salt to icing to cut down on the sweetness. can any body help with a good icing and filling thats not to sweet and still teast good.

And oh yes almost forgot it have to be able to sit out side for a good few hours.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

You say it has to sit outside for awhile, what is the temperature outside where you're located? If it's warm/summer there and your temperatures are above 80 degrees/26.7 Celsius, you will need to add some meringue powder to your icing to help it not to melt so quickly .. that's the bad part about icings that contain shortening icon_sad.gif
