Hey cupcakers!! I just found the cutest cupcake stand at DOLLAR GENERAL if you can believe it. It holds 2 dozen cupcakes and it was only $8.00. I couldn't believe how well made it is.. The center post measures a full 1/2 inch and seem to be stainless steel.

Thanks for sharing! I haven't gotten into the whole display thing yet - but if I do - I hope I can find one like this. It's much prettier than the wilton one

Great find! Darn, I have never seen a dollar general around here before. I live in Washington State. We have dollar tree. Are they the same?

OOO sorry ClassyMommy, I'm afraid they are not the same, just similar. I'm not sure how far the region for Dollar General goes. We have Dollar Trees here in MO too. I wasn't really looking for this, but just happened on it. I have the smaller wilton wire stand and just don't like the way they hold the cupcake.

The brand is in tiny letters on the bottom left side. It is Clover Valley Home. distributed by Dolgencorp.inc. 100 Mission Ridge, Goodlettsvgille, TN 37072. The box is lime green with a Photo with cupcakes which is on a 9 inch white square. Hope this helps. Hope it wasn't just a fluke in the store I went to this afternoon.

Thank you! I tried blowing up the picture but it was too distorted to read the brand on the front. I'll see what I can find as we do have the DG stores here.

dynee-where did they have this displayed in the store. Was it in the cookware aisle?

I have this same stand - bought it at WalMart about 2 years ago. They didn't carry them long. I liked it because it seemed sturdier than most. Hmmm. now where did I put that thing ?!?!? lol

lhayes1976, I can't tell you because it was just sitting in the aisle next to the cleaning supplies. I'm not sure, but I think it was following me around and jumped out in front of me so I'd see it.LOL

I usually prefer to buy cardboard cupcake stands. They come with a variety of design options and they are cheap; so you can buy a new stand every time you throw a party rater than using the old one every time.
