I and my 4 year old are moving to Portsmouth next week and I was wondering who was up there? We are moving from Alabama. I know I know we are in for a shock, but I feel sorry for the RI people who are going to have to try to understand my and my son's accent!! heeee

Thank you. I am trying to get ready for the packers and just feel really overwhelmed. I swear I have ADD. I go to one room see something that needs done, but then get caught up doing something else in another room. See something that needs done and just start going in circles!!!! arghhhhhh

I'm a little less than an hr away in Seekonk, MA. Right now it's cold here buy you'll love Newport in the nice weather. The beaches are beautiful and the restaurants are great. Wait til you see the mansions on Ocean Drive, unbelievable! Once you get here let us know I'll recommend some good places to eat.

And I live right outside Providence, near Seekonk. Welcome to RI! There are so many good beaches! Roger Wheeler beach is nice for kids....less waves and a playground. 2nd beach is really popular and it's right in Newport. There's some nice ones a little further south too. My boys love East Matunuck beach b/c it has BIG waves.
