helloo
i made a batch of the dark choc rolled sugar cookie just then. i've made it once b4 (on a cool night) and didnt have a problem with it. now i'm making it in the daytime and the weather is warm. i made it exactly the same way as last time but this time it is all sloppy. i added a couple of tablespoons of extra flour but it didn't help - still sloppy. what do i do?? shud i just keep adding more flour when i eventually roll it out? is it the weather thats wrecking it?

the consistency of the dough reminds me of the time i put too much butter in nfsc - they spread like crazy. i have to save this batch because the cookies are meant to be a gift

Try sticking them in the fridge for an hour or two.

This is the second time my cookies have spread like my aunt edna, and both times I had used flour still cold from the freezer. Does that sound like the culpret?
