I am trying to make gold icing, and I found a recipe that said to use
1 part red, 3 parts orange, and 10 parts lemon yellow...

I don't have any orange!!! I just realized this and it's too late to get any.
What do I do?

I'm using royal icing, and the gold is going to be piped onto red fondant and painted with gold luster dust.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure about the portions, but yellow and red will make orange. Good luck! maybe someone else can tell you more specific portions.

Start with a medium to deep yellow icing the same tone as you want for the gold, you always start with the lightest color first. Add red in very small amounts until you get the gold you want.
