I have searched everywhere and have 2 questions.
What tip was used for this cupcake.
What type of icing is this...it does not look like buttercream

In my opinion, it looks like Creamcheese icing and tip no. 2A

I think it looks like creamcheese too. I'm not sure of the tip number but I think it would be the biggest circle one

I recently bought the Ateco #809 tip - it's a round tip that's 11/16 inch in diameter. It ices cupcakes just like the ones shown in that pic. I love it!

You can also get the same effect by using an open coupler. Just don't put a tip on it. I do it all the time.
