Ok, so this might be a silly question. I have never filled cupcakes before. Does the cupcake need to be warm or cold in order to put a filling in them?
Thanks!

I always cool mine and then fill them.. so they are at room temp.

Never fill or ice while cake is warm!

Thank you! That's what I thought, but wasn't sure. That means I wait until tomorrow which is perfect!

I just wait an hour or two and then fill them. And then I stick them in ziplock bags if I want to decorate them the next day.

Frankyola cool technique. I thought I would check it out to see how everyone else does it. I like my way, it's a lot easier. But it's always good to have other methods.

I bought a bismark tip #230 from Wilton to fill my cupcakes. It was so easy. I filled mine at room temp and they came out great.

I like to use an apple corer. My DH loves to eat the bowl full of little centers mixed with some filling and buttercream!
