I played around again this weekend & (without going out & spending any $$ yet) found something that I think I really like for cupcakes.
It's a pamper chef ... siiigghhh ....

Oh yeah! It's a PC measuring scoop, but I know I've seen them in a vairety of sizes (& colors!) at wal-mart. I like how it's only round on the front, this makes it easy for me so scrape off alot of excess batter. & the little inside flap pushes the batter right out of the scoop for me, so I don't have to wait on gravity to pull the batter out! Yeah!
Not that I have anything against gravity, but it just seems so unreliable. It pulls down what you don't want down, yet it doesn't pull what you do
What can I say though, it was discovered by a man!
I go the cheap route. I pour all my batter into a ziplock bag, cut the corner and its the fastest, cleanest, easiest and cheapest way I found. I've tried the ice cream scoop, the pastry bag, tge squeeze bottle but those are all way too time consuming and can be messy.
My DH suggested this as well, but I really want something I can wash & reuse instead of a throw away product. Great minds think alike right?! (my dh is a mad genius btw)
