Well, actually, it's a race track. But the principle's the same, right?
I'm going to make my dad a Daytona International Speedway cake for his 60th birthday. Plans right now call for several stacked oval cakes carved into a bowl shape, tiny fondant cars, etc. However, I've never done a cake like this before and I'll admit the picture is all in my head.
Any advice in putting together a cake like this would be very greatly appreciated! No detail too big or small.
