How much do you charge per cupcake?

A friend of mine is a medical sales rep and has asked me to occasionally do cupcakes in large quantities for him to take to the offices he frequents. I've never charged for any of my stuff, but he has gotten a budget from the company...so...

How much do you charge per cupcake and does this cover the liners, etc that you use? I don't exactly know how much to charge to make sure that I am covered for all my supplies, etc. I do not have a bakery...I do cakes from my home for friends/family...

Cupcakes with a swirl of buttercream only?

Cupcakes with a swirl of BC and sprinkles?

Do I just charge him for the box, etc??

I think it really just depends! For weddings, I usually charge $1.00 per cupcake and $1.50 for the glam ones. But I've also done them for as little as $0.50 each. But you also may want to ask what his budget is... he may not care giving you a little more since it's not coming out of his pocket and covered under company expense.
