Just thinking out loud here (well, in type then).

I'm building a separate commercial kitchen in my basement, as per the health regulations where I live. I don't expect to be doing huge amounts of business for a while, and it just occurred to me that perhaps I could rent the space to another decorator on a part-time basis, e.g. some evenings.

Has anyone done this? Has it worked or not? I guess it could be a little odd to have someone coming into my house, but the new kitchen is in a completely separate part from where the family would be...
Thanks for any opinions.

i think its a great idea to make some money until you are ready to use it full time. since it is at your house try going to the police department and see if you can get a criminal background check on your renter. you never know who are good people today
