Congrats to the both of you. Wish you all the best.

My idea as far the wedding cake, you should definitely have a throwdown or competition and have people submit a wedding cake. As for the groom's cake, I think a cake shaped like a laptop with the cakecentral website on the screen and both of your mugs on either side and a plate with a slice of cake. icon_smile.gif

Congratulations to the both of you! Wow, June is not far off. one bit of advice. DON'T TRY TO MAKE YOUR OWN CAKE.. I did and it was the only cake I had fall apart on me.. ( I got carried away with the simple syrup) our wedding was at 8:00 pm an the cake started cracking about 2:30 in the afternoon. My niece (who never made a wedding cake before) ended up baking and decorating her first wedding cake (she had help with the baking and mixing) but the cake was done 1 hour before the wedding.. and it was BEAUTIFUL! She said it "paid off watching you all those years! " And it really did... Hey one suggestion.. why don't you get married in the evening and have a cake Only reception that way you can have MANY MANY CAKES!! ALL SHAPES AND SIZES.. A WEDDING CAKE BONANZA RECEPTION!! How about that?

I agree! And as for the wedding, all of us CC members should send a cupcake each and create a huge tower! How tall would that be?
And a contest for the cutting cake.

Anyway, whatever you decide, here's wishing you a both a long and happy married life together!

That's absolutely terrific! Best wishes to you for many happy years together. You've given us so much!

I think everyone here on CC that can, should make should make you a cake. We could all make them for June 27th and post them in a special gallery. Think of it, wedding cakes for you all over the world to celebrate!

Congratulations! I'm so excited for both of you!

How sentimental are you about your religion or ancestry?

When I returned to cake deco, I sketched a design for a cake which was centered around our multi-religious, multi-cultural family.

You might consider invoking yours' and Heath's ancestors in your cake design.
