Congratulations indeed! The best reason I can think of to have a Cake Central Cake Challenge; Heath and Jackie pick the winner to do their wedding cake.. How fun would this be.. thumbs_up.gif
May you both enjoy many years of happiness together.. DH and I will celebrate our 44th anniversary this year... It seems like yesterday that we were planning our modest and humble wedding.. What a wonderful memory; now if I could just get into that skinnly little white dress again... icon_redface.gificon_redface.gificon_lol.gif

Wow! That's fantastic. Congratulations and best wishes to you both..
and cant wait to see the cake too!!!! My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary this September and we will be renewing our vows. Believe it or not I don't even really remember what our wedding cake looked like! icon_redface.gif Now I have to go look at the video! I actually can't wait to make our Anniversary cake.....maybe an all dark chocolate one this time.!!! yum! icon_biggrin.gif

I love the look of all stark white on white elegance, classy , clean, and not too busy for a wedding cake. Good Luck to you both!!

Oh--congratulations, you two! It's about dang time!

OK--here's my idea...have a wedding cake contest here on CC (of course) and the winner can do your cake. But, also have other CCers do individual table cakes for each table--something that goes with the colors and idea of the winning cake. THE POSSIBILITIES!
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I want to add my congratulations and best wishes. I don't do wedding cakes so I can't give any advice exept to go with your heart . After seeing all the super wedding cakes on this wonderful site It may take you until June to decide.

Also a huge thank you to you and Heath for creating and maintaining Cake Central for us.

Congratulations!

I guess I am a traditionalist when it comes to wedding cakes. Don't get me wrong color is great on cake but for me I love a white buttercream cake with fresh flowers. Which is exactly what I had. We were married in fall and we met and worked at Home Depot. We had the most beautiful orange roses on a white bc three tiered cake. I just love the look of string work, ruffles and flowers.
