For those of you that don't know Heath and I have been running CakeCentral.com since 2004 and have been engaged, for ahh... well a really long time!

Yay! Yay! Yay! After a VERY long engagement Heath and I have FINALLY set the date!!! June 27th 2009

I am so excited! I have so many ideas for a huge wonderful fantastic wedding cake!!! LOL, the first question I always ask anyone newly engaged is "OOH.. what are you going to do for a cake!!" Who cares about a dress right?!? Its all about the cake! icon_biggrin.gif

I would love to hear your ideas, and what you did for your wedding!
Also, what are some of your favorite wedding cakes from the cakecentral.com gallery?

congratulations to both of you..........question is whose's going to make your wedding cake???? I would also like to take this chance to say thx you for creating the best site on the net. With 4 kids and a hubby who all seem to live on the net I was always the 1 to moan and say well at least I live in the real world and not somewhere up there floating around in space!!.........well not no more as i'm in space in cc. Well we do have a saying in the uk...."if you can't beat them join them" well I guess your brilliant site has seen to that.

I got married in 1994 and my wedding cake looked like it had an 80's hangover - really, straight from the Golden Girls.

Seriously, soooo many wonderful wedding cakes here in the gallery. Now I want to get all "consultation-y" and start asking my standard questions. "So what are your colors? What is your theme? What kind of feel do you want the event to have?" icon_lol.gif

Really, this is wonderful, I'm so happy for both of you!!!!

I know that some folks in the food and cake biz can't decide on just one cake so multiple cakes are often the case.

Oh, Jackie...I'm so happy for you both. This will be the best time of your lives. Now, you MUST have a wedding cake contest with a huge entry fee to pay for the winner to come to your wedding!!! LOL

Although what DH and I did was and still is special...I wouldn't recommend anyone else try it...

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I don't envy youm in that if I had found cake central before my wedding, I NEVER would have been able to decide on a cake.

My cake was actually pretty simple and straight out of a wilton book.

You will definitely have to post pics after the ceremony.
Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket.

WHAOH, I htought you guys were already married! CONGRATS, you guys rock, I hope someone is going to make your cake for you. So far no one has posted any ideas..ha ha ha hha , and I am lame too with no ideas. Before I was even into cakes, I love the white simple elegant looking cake, maybe some cake jewels to make it bling! For some reason for annivarsary and weddings I love the simplicity and elegance....good luck we will anxiously be waiting to see what your your design is and also the finished product. Your wedding date is right around the corner!!!
