I posted this in the recipe request forum, but thought maybe more people would see it here.

Hello
I bought the butter rum and butterscotch flavor oils, I would like to make some cuppies with a buttercream based icing. Does anyone have any recipes for either of these flavors? I really want to try them today, but not quite sure what to do with them, I prefer using box cake mix and doctoring it icon_wink.gif

Thanks for any help!

I'm sorry I can't help with any cake recipes using the flavoring, but I have put it in my bc and it's wonderful. I haven't used the flavors you're looking for, but the oils work great for flavoring bc. Just in case you can't find a recipe.

Put like two drops of the butter rum in one batch of batter and bake. If making 7 cups of frosting, I usually add 2-3 drops of oil in the buttercream.

Thanks for the help. I added it to both...unfortunately I think I added too much, but the kids like them. So they can eat them and share them with the neighborhood, then they won't be on my hips!

Thanks for the help icon_smile.gif
